How much does it cost?+
The basics are free, forever — drop pins, RSVP to others, get reminders. We'll add premium features later for people who want more from Pinmate, but the core stays open to everyone.
Do I have to install anything?+
No. It works in your browser — open the link and you're in. If you'd rather have an icon on your home screen, “Add to Home Screen” pins it like a regular app.
Where do I see pins?+
Only around your home location. Outdoor meetups are local by nature — we won't show you anything from the other side of the country.
Can I host my own meetups?+
Yes. Describe what you're doing, pick a time, drop a pin — done. Neighbours with matching filters see it.
What if no one shows up?+
You'll know in advance — Pinmate shows everyone who RSVP'd. If it's nobody, delete the pin in one click or push it to another day. No commitment.
Is my location public?+
No. Your home location lives on your account and only filters the map for you. The pins you drop have their own meeting points — you only show what you want.
What if I change my mind?+
Click “not going” any time. The host gets a heads-up so they know how many to expect. No drama, no guilt-trips.
